About & Me

I am S A Haque Olike — a filmmaker, screenwriter, and
music Lyricist with nearly two decades of experience
in the Bangladeshi film and television industry. Since
the early 2000s, I’ve worked to establish myself as a
passionate and consistent storyteller. I began my
journey in television and gradually transitioned to
the big screen, where I’ve directed and written
numerous acclaimed dramas, telefilms, and feature
films that have connected deeply with audiences across
the country.
My debut feature film, Hridoyer Kotha, was
the first step in a series of heartfelt projects that
combined emotional depth with strong, relatable
storytelling. My goal has always been to craft
narratives that not only entertain but also leave a
lasting emotional impact. Whether I’m working on a
romantic drama, a high-energy action film, or a moving
family story, I focus on the human experience and
emotional truth behind each frame.
Some of my most recognized works include
Aro Bhalobashbo Tomay, Golui,
Rongdhonu, and Ek Prithibi Prem.
These films are not only known for their narratives
but also for their music — many of which I composed
myself. Beyond filmmaking, I take pride in mentoring
emerging artists and contributing to the growth of our
creative community. With over 18 years of active
contribution to cinema and media, I continue to
explore new ideas and push creative boundaries. My
journey is driven by passion, resilience, and an
enduring love for storytelling.
